More About this Ride
We are looking for a group of experienced riders to scout the route with us. The group should be representative of cyclists that would sign up to participate in a metric century course. We've driven the route several times with Chelsea and made some adjustments to the original draft route, but as you know, being on a bike is going to be very different.
For our purposes we have 2 rest stops planned along the route. One at Blueberry Hill Park (MP 18.9) and North Park (MP 41.1). Both locations have public restrooms.
This ride has about 3994 ft of climbing (roughly 63.5 ft/mile) according to Ride with GPS.
Who is this ride for?
This scouting ride is not
for a rider who has not done a metric century before.
Plan for lunch after the ride. There are a couple of great options on the SouthSide for us to choose from, including Over the Bar
(OTB), Double Wide Grill
, and The Zenith
This ride may cancel if rain is forecast.
