GAP Meyersdale to Frostburg and back
About this Ride
This will be a leisurely ride starting and ending at Meyersdale, PA. A scenic round trip up across the Eastern Continental Divide and Mason Dixon line. Awesome views, tunnels and a stop in Frostburg at the halfway point.
Note: We'll meet up t the Meyersdale Historical Society parking lot on the GAP here.
Restrooms are available at the start and at Frostburg.
This is a no drop ride. The surface is hard packed gravel that is ok for road bikes. This section of the Great Allegheny Passage is gentle railroad grades suitable for beginner, moderate and advanced level riders. Feel free to ride at a comfortable pace but keep at least one other rider in sight. We'll regroup at several points along the route to take pictures and admire the views.
An email notification will be sent to all registered riders by if the event is cancelled due to weather.

Please arrive early enough to be ready for the pre-ride briefing that will begin 5 minutes prior to our roll-out time. This ride will rollout at the completion of the pre-ride briefing. Please notify the ride leader ASAP if something delays your arrival.
